Welcome to NOC!
We wish to welcome you to the third edition of the Norwegian Open Championships, NOC 2010, a tournament style competition featuring both BJJ and modified rules ADCC submission wrestling with open classes for all categories and beginner divisions in the submission wrestling format! The competition will be held on the 19.-20. June at Bygdøhus Idrettshall.

Best way to get to the tournament by public transport is by taking bus 30 from Nasjonalteateret to the Bygdøhus stop. It is a 2 min walk from there. Signs will be posted.
Prizes and trophies will be awarded for the open classes, best technical fighter and fastest submission both days! The winner of the Advanced Open Classes will receive 1000 Euros in prize money! ( The Advanced Open Class -75 kilos must have a minimum of 8 competitors in the bracket to earn the full 1000 Euro award. If less than 8 competitors are present the prize will be 500 Euros. )
The Female Advanced Class will have a cash prize of 200 Euros for the winner! ( If less than 8 competitors participate the prize will be 100 Euros. )
All Open Classes will be divided into a -75 and a +75 kilo bracket providing there are enough competitors to fill two divisions!
Registration fee:
The cost for one day of competition when paid at the door is 400kr and for both days is 500kr. Prepayments made before the 12th of June are 300kr for one day and 400 for both days!
All BJJ brown and black belts compete free of charge!
The registration fee for the NOC jr tournament for children aged 8-15 is 150,- NOK.

Weigh-ins:
Weigh-ins for the SW tournament will be done at Frontline Academy on Bogstadveien 27B from 17-19 Friday the 18th of June and from 9-11 Saturday the 19th at the hall. Weigh-ins for the BJJ tournament will be done from 9-11 on Sunday the 20th of June at the hall only. Anyone failing to make weight on Saturday or Sunday will immediately be relegated to the next higher weight class.
Beginner divisions:
Any athlete who has a blue belt in BJJ or equivalent, has trained grappling for 2 years or more or who has won gold in a division with 8 or more competitors cannot enter the beginner divisions. In the beginner divisions the use of heelhooks, slams and neck cranks will be prohibited and any athlete performing one will be disqualified without warning.
